Document Description
This project will place approximately 200 cubic yards (50 tons) of various sized rock rip-rap around a private bridge to stablize the banks of Natchez Creek and the road above. This work will occur by use of an excavator working from the road above and no equipment will enter the creek. Prior to placement of rock, loose dirt and material that sloughed off the banks toward the creekbed in the recent storm shall be removed by hand starting on the bank at the point furthest from the water line and moving towards the water to reduce the potential for additional sediment to enter the walkway. Additionally, the private road and bridge above the creek will be rocked to reduce dust and erosion.
