Document Description
Replacement of existing STPUD plant headworks which was originally built in 1959 and expanded in 1966. The existing grit removal process plugs up consistently, requiring extensive maintenance and the outdated grit removal devices catch more organics than necessary, negatively impacting landfills. STPUD proposes to build a new headworks to current building codes and utilizing industry standard equipment to improve the ability to process wastewater, as well as offer environmentally sound biosolids capture and recycling.
