The Luther Pass Pump Station currently has two 1200kW diesel-powered generators housed in an on-site trailer. One generator has burned up and the remaining generator is obsolete. This replacement project includes a new diesel-powered generator(s) in a durable building in about the same location. The beneficiaries are District ratepayers and other visitors and residents of the Lake Tahoe area.
