Document Description
The City of Rialto will be installing and operating two 96"x60" ion exchange treatment units and associated piping and appurtenances at an existing well site. The perchlorate removal system is one of three demonstration projects in southern california intended to determine if a single, packed-bed vessel can be used to remove or reduce perchlorate from drinking water to meet safe drinking water regulations. The perchlorate treatment system is designed by the Rohm and Haas Company and will be re-permitted by the California Department of Public Health if the system is to remain in service after the demonstration project program.
