Document Description
Upper and Lower Rubicon is a multi-ownership project to remove surface and ladder fuels on east and south facing slopes near the Rubicon Bay area of the West Shore of Lake Tahoe. Of the approximately 23.6 total acres, 6 acres are accessible by machinery and these areas will be masticated. The remaining 17.6 acres are steeper and hand crews will cut brush growing under an overgrown fir dominated stand.
