To study the appropriate level of disturbance necessary to increase the population viability of Santa Cruz tarplant (Holocarpha macradenia) through the implmentation of a high intensity, short duration, rotational grazing regime on degraded coastal prairie. This information will be used in the development of a grazing plan to be used to restore the native coastal prairie grassland and improve habitat for the rare plant.
