The new two level CHEER facility (approximately 20,700 gross square feet) will include the following laboratories:
-Human Kinetics Research Lab
-Cognitive/Neuroscience Research Lab
-Collaborative Laboratory serving Biology, Biotechnology, and Biochemistry
Research conducted at the facility will support interdisciplinary basic and applied biomedical and behavioral research which will target the promotion of health and the elimination of health disparities. The facility will be located on a former parking lot at the northern quadrant of the campus which is now being used as a temporary construction yard during the erection of a parking structure.
