Document Description
The applicant installed four corrugated metal culverts ranging from 24-36" in diameter within ephemeral drainages to facilitate the development of road crossings. Installation of the culverts included the placement of fill material around each culvert and rock riprap to the upstream and downstream ends of each culvert. The project impacted approximately 200 square feet, or 0.005 acres of jurisdictional areas, consisting entirely of ephemeral stream habitat. The applicant is proposing to restore the banks of the ephemeral drainages and the disturbed streambed areas around the culverts through the installation of local California native plants. In addition, the applicant will remove all nonnative plants, trash and debris from the ephemeral drainages.
