This NOE is submitted on behalf of CA Department of Public Health, Responsible Agency. The existing Paramount Well exceeds the MCL for Uranium and Nitrate, and produces silt. The well will be removed from service for drinking water supply. The replacement well will replace the water production lost from the old well and will help the City of Ceres maintain the pressure and maximum day demand for the City Water System. Components for the project include a well pedestal, pump of 75-200hp, control panel, piping to distribution system, a drain, and security fencing.
