Document Description
The purpose of this project is to reduce the number and severity of median run-off-road collisions. It is proposed to widen the inside shoulder to ten feet, install a shoulder rumble strip and replace existing three-beam median barrier with concrete barrier. Work includes roadway widening, road cut/fill, equipment staging areas, drainage/culvert work, ramp closure, ground disturbance and vegetation and tree removal. Federal funds will be requested. No new right-of-way will be required.
