Document Description
The Proposed Project would minimize existing streambank erosion, resurface the dam's concrete sill, and install a multi-tiered boulder weir. Imported riprap would be used to augment the eroded downstream right bank (25 tons of riprap( and the downstream face of the dam (175 tons of riprap). To repair the concrete sill, the District would place a 6-inch thick vertical layer of shotcrete (approximately 16 cubic yards) on the damaged portion of the downstream face of the dam ot protect the exposed foundation of the dam. The fish passage improvement component of the Proposed Project would include the construction of a three-tiered boulder weir to create step pools with no more than one-foot jumps (changes in water surface elevation) between them.
