Document Description
This project intends to redesign selected interior areas in existing KPBS 1st and 2nd floors. On the 1st floor, a 1,400 sf area will be reconfigured as a conference/workspace that will include technology/media wall housing computers/TV screens, 6,725 sf area on the 2nd floor that includes a 4,400 sf area where existing workstation layout will be replaced with a configuration that promotes a creative, collaborative work environment of converged (radio, TV and web) teams that function as one division. This workplace renovation will terminate in the middle of the floor by extending just the interior finishes an additional 2,325 sf to the existing wall will help to create a project boundary for the reconfiguration. The total area of reconfiguration for both the 1st and 2nd floor is estimated to be 8,125 sf.
