Document Description
Remove sand deposits from the river channel in 3 locations to restore channel capacity. Removed sediment will be used to reinforce the northerly stream bank/levee to improve stability, and prevent flooding and loss of property. A man-made agricultural drainage channel, located between the river levee and adjacent developed farmland will be filled in the course of reinforcing the levee. Remove fallen trees, dead tree limbs, and/or dead woody debris from within the river. Clear trash and other debris from the river bed and bank. Work will occur in dry conditions, and disturbed bank areas will be revegetated and restored to prevent erosion.
