Document Description
Pave the existing dirt access road from the Maintenance shop loop road to the septic tank effluent collection system at Calavaras Big Trees State Park to allow year round access. Work will:
1. Excavate an approximately 845' long, 4' deep, and 14' wide are for the road prism;
2. Excavate an additional 40' x 50' for a parking area at the septic tank;
3. Remove approximately three 10" diameter cedar trees from new road prism;
4. Remove six 4' diameter stumps by excavating approximately 6' deep x 5' radius from the centerline of the stump;
5. Install road base and pave excavated areas;
6. Excavate three trenches, each up to 15' long and install rock for drainage and erosion control adjacent to the road.
