Document Description
CDFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2016-0183-R2, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, City of Willows. Project includes the construction of a bridge spanning the Tehama Street Channel to connect the proposed Harvest Drive to Tehama Street. The bridge will be approx. 40 feet wide and 128 feet long, and will clear span the bed of the channel. Abutments will be constructed in the banks of the channel by using reinforced concrete columns founded on cast in drilled hole (CIDH) piers. In addition, two (2) storm water drainage spillways will be constructed to discharge directly into the Tehama Street Channel. The spillways will be on the northeastern and southeastern corners of the project area. The spillways will include approx. 550 sq. ft. of rip rap installed 2 feet deep upslope of a cement footing that will be installed no less than 2 feet below the thalweg of the channel. The top of bank will be armored with five inch thick concrete with #4 rebar over six inches of subgrade compacted to 95% compaction.
