Document Description
The project will consist of the Design and Fabrication of new pump control systems at each of the 3 Sutter Pumping Plants. There are a total of 14 pumps ranging from 100 to 350 horsepower. This last phase of the pumping plant renovation will consist of installing a modern control system at each plant allowing the pumps to be controlled remotely from the sutter maintenance yard. Acquiring backup generators to supply power in the event of an outage, and upgrading the communication system at the pumping plants. The generators will be housed on a newly constructed foundation built into the levee. The structures at pumping plants 1 and 3 will be 15'x30' and pumping plant No. 2 will be 30'x30'.
