Document Description
The proposed Amendment aims to target higher intensities and mixed-use development in the southern portion of El Camino Real in the City of South San Francisco, to stimulate revitalization, and transition the corridor into a thriving, pedestrian-oriented area, with a mix of uses. The proposed Amendment would incorporate a new land use designation, El Camino Real Mixed Use, into the General Plan. This designation is intended to accommodate high-intensity active uses and mixed-use development in the South El Camino Real area. Retail and department stores; eating and drinking establishments; hotels; commercial recreations; financial, business, and personal services; residential; educational and social services; and office uses are permitted.
