A renewal of Surface Mining/Conditional Use Permits, approval of Reclamation Plan and review of Financial Cost Estimates for continued extraction from the Main Fork of the Eel River of a maximum 28,000 cubic yards of gravel over every 3 yr period. The project site is ~30 acres. Gravel from the river bar is used in County road maintenance activities in the region. The Department of Public Works has a License Agreement with the property owner for mining activities.
