Document Description
The City of Galt Planning Department is proposing to construct tertiary filtration, UV disinfection, and biosolids dewatering improvements at its wastewater treatment plant to improve effluent water quality prior to discharge into Laguna Creek (via Skunk Creek) and to reduce the total volume of sludge that must be land applied. The proposed project involves the addition of the following features to the City's existing WWTP: tertiary filtration system, UV disinfection system, 3 pump stations, electrical and control building, biosolids dewatering facilities, and additional infrastructure to support these components.
