The proposed project is a request for the development of a new community park in the Carmichael community. The project includes 2 alternatives: 1) Develop 14.4 +/- acres with park amenities including: parking areas, nature paths, tot play areas, picnic areas, botanical and community gardens, and sell a portion (4.4 +/- acres) of surplus land to private developers. 2) Develop 12.1 +/- acres with park amenities including: parking areas, nature paths, tot play areas, picnic areas, botanical and community gardens, and sell a portion (6.7 +/- acres) of surplus land to private developers.
