Document Description
SBA Towers, Inc. proposes to install a wireless communication facility on the north side of the subject 2 acre parcel located at 5755 Nortonville Road in Pittsburg. The project includes construction of a: 118 ft tall non-guided tower with 4 antennas and one lightning rod, equipment shelter, and emergency back-up diesel powered generator and extension of utilities to the site (~125 ft). The project also includes the installation of a 6 ft tall chain link security fence, widening of the existing unpaved dirt access road by 12 inches at 2 locations (due to sharp turns) and removal of several abandoned telecommunication facilities. The proposed United States Coast Guard's "Rescue 21" project will improve the ability of the U.S. Coast Guard to assist mariners in distress, save lives, as well as enhance Homeland Security.
