The proposed 2009 Housing Element amendment provides: 1) updated information about how much new residential development should occur int he city to accommodate its "fair share" of project regional housing needs; 2) updated information for the housing needs assessment to address current economic, demographic, housing conditions, and a description of existing regulatory and market conditions, and; 3) revisions, additions and deletions of certain housing element programs and policies to better serve current housing needs, current community priorities, and changes to state law.
