Additional used motor oil and used oil filter collection services in the Florence-Firestone area. A pilot door-to-door collection program 12 months. Residents can request pick-up of used oil filters from their homes. A certified vendor will haul and properly recycle the used oil and filters collected from homes. This program will alleviate illegal dumping of used motor oil and oil filters and help protect the health and safety of the public and the environment. If the pilot program is successful, it will be sustained by the LA County Department of Public Works.
