The proposed project involves the construction of a Public Safety Building which would centralize the City of Holtville's fire and police services into one single facility located on 1.66 acres adjacent to City Hall. The purpose of the project is to construct a public safety building and improve public safety and emergency response throughout the City by replacing the existing inadequate police and fire facilities. The building proposed includes ~9,900 sf of net usable space on 1.66 acres of land with Fire and Police Station amenities such as Offices, Storage Areas, Holding Cells, Male and Female Locker Rooms, a Lounge, Fitness Rooms, Break Rooms, Restrooms, a Conference Room, and an Apparatus Bay. Other onsite improvements include landscaping, lighting enhancements, and utility/drainage improvements.
