Document Description
The proposed project is the permanent transfer of 14,000 acre-ft per year of DRWD's State Water Project (SWP) Table A Amount to MWA. Under the project, 7,000 acre-ft would be transferred from DRWD to MWA on January 1, 2010, and additional 3,000 acre-ft would be transferred on January 1, 2020. The project would involve no construction of facilities; the transfer would be accomplished entirely in existing facilities. MWS will acquire the SWP Table A Water for use within its service area.
