- Document Description
- The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed an amendment to Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2018-0278-R4, issued to the County of San Luis Obispo Flood Control and Water Conservation District. The Project includes activities related to the construction of flood control walls, the raising of the existing levees, and the placement of large woody log structures along portions of Arroyo Grande Creek and Old Los Berros Creek for the purpose of increasing capacity to a 10-year flood protection. The amendment allows diversion and dewatering of surface waters within the Arroyo Grande and Los Berros Channel, and changes the avoidance and minimization measures for Tidewater Goby and the South-Central California Coast Steelhead to allow for the capture, handling, relocation, and monitoring activities, following issuance of Biological Opinions 08EVEN00-2015-F-0068 and SPL-2012-00317-JWM.
