The Master Plan describes the components of a recylced water system to serve end users located throughout their Wildomar service area. To be cost-effective, the Master Plan proposed implementation of the system in 4 seperate phases to provide the appropriate level of supply to match demand as it increases over time; this project addresses the Tuscany phase.
The proposed Tuscany Recycle Water Project would deliver 832 acre ft per year (AFY) of recycled water (in lieu of potable water) to converted landscape irrigation users including a park, school fields, medians, slopes and greenbelts. In addition, larger master planned communities (North Tuscany Hills, Ramsgate, Spyglass,and Porto Romano) will connect to the Tuscany system st a later date with projected usage of 1,672 AFY. The total project recycled water usage for this phase is ~2.505 AFY. System facilities will consist of the following: ~38,000 linear ft of 6 inch to 18 inch diameter pipeline; 4,500 gallons per minute pump station (6.48 MGD); 0.8 million gallon reservoir; Turnout facility, which entails a 18 inch diameter high performance butterfly valve at the point of connection tot he existing 54 inch effluent pipeline.
