Document Description
The Proposed Project consists of 133 detached single-family residential subdivision on a vacant parcel of land in the City of Highland. The project site is located on a rectangular parcel consisting of 22.92 gross acres. The project also includes dedications, street, community trail, Tot Lot and Bio Swale, at the southeast corner of Greenspot Road and Orange Street. The project would provide state-of-art green building technology focused on aesthetics, energy-efficient design, and cost-effective materials and equipment that help offset energy costs for the future homeowners to lessen the impact on the environment. Woodbridge Trails in its effort to encourage "green paractices" will lead by example in source reduction, recycling, and composing through its construction practices and building options. As an infill project, Woodbridge Trails makes efficient use of existing land. It incoporates ecologically sound building materials including recycled content and low Volatile Organic Compound products. During site grading and building construction, to the extent possible, protects the topsoil in order to reduce dust and runoff impacts.
