Document Description
Conditional Use Permit (CUP) 08-01 is a request to establish new sand and gravel surface mining operation on 27.5 acres. The proposed use will include the following items: a) hours of operation up to 24 hours per day, Monday through Saturday; b) annual production of 240,000 cubic yards of material, c) processing and crushing of recycled concrete and asphalt: and d) on-going processing and crushing of recylced concrete and asphalt upon completion of mining activities and any required reclamation. Reclamation Plan 08-01 is a related application to establish criteria and requirements for reclamation of the site as required by the Surface Mining and Reclamation Act and Chapter 10, Article 102, of the Palmdale Zoning Ordinance.
