Document Description
Rojas-Pierce Park is an existing City park facility located in the northwestern area of town. The City Council adopted a Master Plan for development and improvements to the park in 2006. Phase I of the construction was completed in January 2009. The Project consists of Phase II of the development, which would complete the master-planned facility by way of adding 2 soccer fields, a baseball diamond, new restrooms, a second concession area, and substantial additional onsite parking. Most of the existing park is in the City; most of the project site is in the County, adjacent to the existing park site. The entire park site will be landscaped with a combination of turf and trees. Smoot Street, which runs along the southern boundary of the park, will be extended west to provide adequate vehicular access to the entire facility.
