Document Description
CDFW is intending to execute a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code (#1600-2011-0344-R5) to the project applicant, City of La Mesa. The applicant proposes to alter the bed, bank, and channel of the stream to replace and partially realign a segment of existing sewer trunk main located adjacent to the Alvarado Creek channel. Project activities include diverting water around the project site, benching and trenching on the northern slope of Alvarado Creek, installation of a new pipeline, abandoning of the existing pipeline under the open channel, abandoning, replacing, raising, and/or installing new manholes, digging temporary pits to accommodate trenchless installation of the replacement pipe under the SR-125 right-of-way, restoring the channel slope to a 2:1 slope, and revegetating the slope and channel edge.
