The applicant, the City of Santa Clarita, is requesting certification of the Stage 1 DEIR and approval from the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) of the relocation of an at-grade rail crossing. THe City of Santa Clarita proposes to create a new at-grade rail crossing at Lyons Avenue and Railroad Avenue and close the existing 13th Street railroad crossing at Railroad Avenue.
