Document Description
The project consists of the operation of an instream diversion that is utilized to pump water from Frenchman's Creek in support of local irrigation of agricultural crops. Facilities associated with the operation of this diversion include two concrete settling chambers (located on the streambed/bank) with associated screw-gate valves, a water pump with a pumping capacity of approximately 30-50 gpm that draws water from the second settling chamber or "sump" and a 1 1/2" pipeline that delivers water from the pump to a 1.5 acre foot storage pond where the water is then distributed to various irrigation pipes on adjacent agricultural fields.
