Document Description
A temporary emergency Hazardous Waste Treatment Permit has been granted to Edwards Air Force Base (Edwards) to treat hazardous waste by open burn. The hazardous waste to be treated consists of 21 items (rocket motors and samples) containing approximately 76,880 pounds of excess research and development (R&D) rocket propellant. The three largest items contain 21,250 pounds of propellant each. The items have been in storage at Edwards. Explosive Ordinance Disposal (EOD) personnel will carry out treatment of the items.
