Document Description
NOTE: Amended Final
This project will modify the spillway apron on the Capay Diversion Dam by replacing a portion and extending the concrete apron by ~44 ft downstream (for a total width of 55 ft) along the entire 450 ft length of the structure. The apron will be 3 ft thick. Additionally, this project will install a concrete grade control structure ~150 ft downstream of the dam designed to protect the dam from the potential advance of downstream erosion and the long-term streambed degredation of Cache Creek. Approximately 3,200 cy of material will be excavated and 9,127 cy of native and imported fill would be placed within the stream zone. This project will permanently impact ~0.03 acres and temporarily impact 0.31 acres of riparian habitat occuring along the creekbanks.
