Document Description
The proposed project includes the construction of two additional aeration basins (oxidation ditches) and a new headworks. The proposed upgrades would: 1) Expand the biochemical oxygen demand (removal of organics) capacity from 15.5 millions gallons per day (MGD) to a 20 MGD loading equivalent. 2) Expand the nitrification (removal of ammonia) capacity from 15.5 MGD to 20 MGD. 3) Construct a new headworks (influent pumping and screening) to replace the outdated, existing headworks. 4) Install a new interceptor to replace the existing pipeline.
