Document Description
The DFG issued the existing CESA ITP in order to address and authorize, as fully mitigated, the incidental take of giant garter snake (Thamnophis gigas), a species designated as Threatened under CESA. Minor Amendment No. 1, as approved, modifies the existing previously issued CESA ITP, modifying the 2012 work window by allowing work to continue until December 10th, 2012, and requiring the installation of snake fencing. In approving Minor Amendment No. 1, the DFG determined that, among other things, no substantial increase in the nature, or scope of the previous authorization provided by the CESA ITP, and that no new significant or substantially more severe environmental impacts than previously considered and disclosed would occur.
