A two-story parking structure is also located on the property. This parking structure serves the current retail tenants. All properties are zoned CD5-AD2. The site is in the Central District Specific Plan Area and in an Alcohol Density Overlay district. In accordance with the Central District Specific Plan, E. Colorado Boulevard is designated as a Main Commercial Boulevard and as a multimodal corridor and S. Lake Ave is designated as a Multimodal Corridor with Commercial Character.
Document Description
The environmental impact report analyzed the "Colorado at Lake" project and "Alternative 3 - Hotel Option" in full detail. The City Council of Pasadena certified the EIR, and approved project entitlements for Alternatives 3 - Hotel Option. This description is of the Alternative 3 - Hotel Option. The project site is on the south side of E. Colorado Boulevard and is bounded by S. Lake Avenue on the west and S. Mentor Avenue on the east. The site is currently developed with a seven-story building (formely the Hotel Constance and most recently used for senior housing; now vacant), which is a designated landmark, and other commercial structures. The project is two-phased, mixed-use project with hotel, office, office, retail, restaurant, and residential uses at 880-940 East Colorado Boulevard.
