The pipeline will extend 6000' from the PSMCSD well site located on the north side of Castroville Blvd. southerly along San Miguel Canyon and easterly along Langsley Canyon Road to the existing pump station at the intersection of Monique and Langley Canyon Roads, Prunedale, North Monterey County.

Reasons for Exemption
The water line will connect the Castroville Blvd. well site to an existing water distribution system and provide portable water to serve 37 existing developed parcels annexed into the PSMCSD (Ref. SCH# 2008091074) whose existing water supply has poor water quality, with high arsenic levels (100 parts/billion) and high nitrate levels.
