Remove grout pads and steel bearing assemblies at 154 locations and replace them with elastomeric bearing pads at the Paradise Cut Bridge (#290032L), located at PM R1299 on Interstate 5 near the City of Lathrop in San Joaquin County. The scope of work includes raising the bridge girders by means of hydraulic jack, chipping away the damaged grout pads, removing the steel bearing pads, repair the bent caps, and install the elastomeric bearing pads. All work would be confined to the underside of the bridge and constructed using construction personnel lifts.
