Installation of 3,800 new water meters and service connections to existing residences and businesses. Upon completion of this project, the City will gain information it needs to identify water shortages and implement conservation measures. Leaks and water wasting can be identified and controlled more efficiently. Households will pay for the water they actually use so consumption can be monitored and cut back as needed.
