Document Description
The University proposes to renovate three of five apartment buildings dating from the 1950s (Buildings 8, 10 and 12), containing a total of 42 apartment units, for occupancy by students for up to 15 years. The two other original buildings (Buildings 9 and 13 totaling 15,500 square feet) would be demolished. A new 2,500 square foot community center is proposed on the Building 13 footprint. Although this is a temporary increase in campus square footage, the project is generally supported by the community and the University remains committed to the LRDP principle to reduce total square footage over time.
