The project is needed to address traffic congestion at the Pleasant Valley/Patterson Road intersection. The proposal is to signalize and improve the intersection of Pleasant Valley Road and Patterson Drive. The Project Area consists of approximately 1,800 feet of Pleasant Valley Road (SR 49), short segments of Ryan Drive and Lake Oaks Drive, a portion of the vacant lot on the southwest corner as a potential staging area, approximately 850 feet of Patterson Drive, and most of the existing frontage of the commercial property (Tower Mart store).
