Document Description
Drilling a geothermal injection well on an existing well pad. The Prati State 79 well will be drilled on an existing (fully disturbed) well pad. The well is located approximately 120' southwest of the field access road connecting Caldwell Pines Road to Coldwater Creek Road in unincorporated Sonoma County. Sonoma County Permit & Resource Management Department, as Lead Agency, published a Mitigated Negative Declaration in April 2009 and adopted it in June 2009. The California Geologic Energy Management Division (CalGEM) considered the MND prepared by the Lead Agency and issued a Permit to Conduct Well Operations. CalGEM has approved a permit for Geysers Power Company, LLC to drill the geothermal production well listed below, in The Geysers geothermal field. API#: 09790900 Well Name: Prati State 79
