Document Description
The construction features and current condition of the existing reservoir do not conform to pertinent health criteria per California Department of Public Health. Further, it is not practicable to rehabilitate the existing reservoir. Therefore it is proposed to replace the existing reservoir of the same storage capacity. Replacement of the existing 2.5 - MG R-3 reservoir is needed to meet the water storage, fire flow and emergency storage requirements within the City's Zone 2 service area in accordance with the recommendations contained in the City's Water Master (September 2005).
