Document Description
The Eastern Municipal Water District's (EMWD) Temecula Valley Regional Reclamation Facility (TVRWRF) collects and treats municipal sewage and produces recycled water for reuse to the Temecula, French Valley, and Murrieta areas. The TVRWRF has permitted raw sewage capacity of 18 MGD. However, during certain wet weather conditions, the TVRWRF's actual reliable treatment capacity is reduced to 16 MGD. To rectify this condition, EMWD is proposing improvements to the existing facilities at the TVRWRF. These improvements are consistent with the plants current permitted treatment capabilities. Upon completion, the TVRWRF will provide reliable, efficient 18 MGD treatment capacity during all weather conditions.
