- Document Description
- The project includes the replacement of the existing bridge with another to be constructed of a cast-in-place concrete box grider bridge and supported by a short seat abutment at each end. The new bridge will be 10 ft wider (40 ft wide), and 16 ft longer, for a total length of 125 ft. The bridge will be constructed one lane at a time, eliminating the need to close the bridge. Temporary shoring and k railing will seperate the roadway traffic and eliminating the need to close the bridge construction. The proposed bridge will clear span over the creek and the only in-creek activities required for construction will be the temporary bridge falsework and existing bridge removal.
