Document Description
This is a major maintenance project that proposes to prevent the bridge decks of various structures on and adjacent to the Sacramento River Viaduct and other structures on SR 50 in the City of Sacramento, in Sacramento and Yolo Counties. Deck concrete will be cleaned with a bead blasting, full-containment operation prior to placement of polyester concrete. The project is needed to preserve the bridge decks because the decks are exhibiting moderate to severe distress, including heavy transverse cracking and heavy pattern cracking.
