Document Description
To investigate the engineering properties of soils in the Delta for the purpose of gathering information that is needed in preliminary design and preparing a draft EIR/EIS for the Bay Delta Conservation Plan. The work will include drilling into soils on disturbed soil sites in the Delta that are readily assessible by vehicles. To avoid impacts to habitats and species during this investigation, DWR staff and consultants will work with environmental scientists to avoid any impacts.
