Document Description
The 2009 Drought Water Bank Program is a one-year transfer program to obtain water from willing sellers upstream of the Delta for sale to water users experiencing shortages due to extreme drought conditions and regulatory pumping curtailments. The San Luis & Delta-Mendota Water Authority proposes to acquire Drought Water Bank water from the Department of Water Resources on behalf of its participating member agencies for delivery into their respective CVP service areas.
